قرار تعين معالي الدكتور هيثم محمد القرعان ممثلا للمنظمة الدرع الدوليه لحقوق المواطن وتكريم سفراء السلام وسفراء النوايا الحسنه في الشرق الاوسط وافريقيا
وتحدث معالي د.صالح محمد ظاهر على الية اختيار القرعان قائلا تخضع آلية اختيار سفراء النوايا الحسنة لعملية دقيقة وحاسمة وحازمة من قبل المنظمة ، حيث تتطلب المهام شخص كفء دؤوب محب للخير و الأشخاص الذين يعملون كسفراء للمنظمة السلام والاغاثه لابد أن يكونوا أشخاصاً على قدرٍ عالٍ من النزاهة ممن يبدون رغبة جامحة للعمل في سبيل المصلحة العامة
وجاء أختيار الدكتور هيثم القرعان بعد الإطلاع على النظام الأساسي واللائحة التنفيذية للمنظمة الدرع الدوليه بالتعين ممثلا للمنظمةالدرع الدوليه
وأوضح الدكتور هيثم القرعان بأنها أنشأت منظمة الدرع الدوليه بعد إنتشار ظاهرة النزاعات التى يعيشها العالم سواءً كانت على مناطق النفوذ والثروات، أو نزاعات مذهبية ودينيه، أو قد تكون نزاعات إصلاحية ، ونزاعات الإنتهاكات، وغيرها من النزاعات التي وجدت على وجة الارض …
وأشار الدكتور القرعان إلى أن المنظمه تهدف إلى نشر ثقافة مبادئ حقوق الإنسان والسلام ونبذ العنف بين البشر ورصد انتهاكات حقوق الإنسان والتعريف بديننا الإسلامي الحنيف ، دين الإعتدال والوسطية والتسامح والإعتراف بكل الديانات السماوية والتحاور مع شخصيات عربية وغير عربية للوصول إلى نشر ثقافة حقوق الإنسان وكيفية التواصل بين الحضارات والديانات.
وأضاف الدكتور هيثم: نسعى من خلال المنظمه التي سيتم أفتتاح فروع ومكاتب لها في جميع دول العالم من قبل مفوضين إلى رفض النزاعات على أسس دينية أو عرقية أو طائفية لأن الدين لا يعطي حقاً قومياً ولا يعطي حقا بالأراضي، بل يجب حل النزاعات على أساس سياسي وفق الشرعية الدولية وقراراتها…
لافتاً إلى أنه من ضمن أهدافهم دعم الشعوب المقهورة والمنتهكة حقوقها القابلة لأن تكون كياناً مستقبلاً توحدها جنسية واحدة ومنطقة جغرافية واحدة وهي محبة للسلام وعلى رأسها الشعب الفلسطيني والسوري والمصري والاحواز وبورما وكشمير…، والعمل على تكوين لجنة شعبية دولية للسلام إلى جانب فتح مجال النقاش والحوار للقضايا المطروحة على الساحة العربية والإقليمية والدولية …
وتم اعتماد ممثل عن المنظمهللاختيار سفراء نوايا حسنه وسفراء السلام
وتمنى الدكتور هيثم أن تكون في بلد السلام المملكه الأردنيه الهاشمية محافظين على نشر مبادئ حقوق الإنسان ونبذ العنف واحترام حقوق الإنسان كما أمر مولاه حضرة صاحب الجلاله الملك عبد الله الثاني ابن الحسين أدام الله ملكه وحفظه ذخراً إلى الأردن والعالم ( بحسب قولهِ ).
