المجلس العالمى للسلام وحقوق الانسان
صدر قرار باختيار وتعيين وتفويض
السفير الدكتور هيثم محمد القرعان سفيرا للسلام في المملكه الاردنيه الهاشميه وممثل في الشرق الاوسط
وذلك تقديرا لجهوده وإسهاماته فى العديد من المجالات ولتمتعه بالخبرات الواسعه فى العمل الحقوقى والدبلوماسى
ونظرا للجهودالفعاله والملموسه فى خدمة السلام العادل وبما لديه من مؤهلات.
حيث عمل في مجالات عده من المنظمات الدوليه ورئيس مكاتب وممثلا
الى عدة منظمات وجمعيات
وقد تم اختيار ليكون اول سفير سلام في المملكه الاردنيه الهاشميه في بعثة السلام وايضا يكون اول سفير في المجلس العالمي للسلام وحقوق الانسان ا
واكد رئيس المجلس العالمى للسلام وحقوق الانسان على خلفية اختيار وتعين وتفويض الدكتورهيثم محمد القرعان فى اختيار وتعين سفراء على مستوى الشرق الاوسط قائلا ان آلية اختيار سفراء المجلس العالمى تخضع لعملية دقيقة وحاسمة وحازمة من قبل المجلس وان الأشخاص الذين يعملون كسفراء للمجلس العالمى لابد أن يكونوا أشخاصاً على قدرٍعالٍ من النزاهة ممن يبدون رغبة جامحة للعمل في سبيل المصلحة العامة و من لديهم حباً للعمل بصفة عامة فضلاً عن دعم أهداف المجلس وغاياتها و يجب أن يُبدوا التزامهم بالسعي جاهدين كي يصلوا لمسامع الجميع بما فيهم صانعي القرار ويشترط المجلس في من يعين سفير
ان يكون شخصية عامة وذلك نظراً لما تتميز به الشخصيات العامة من سمات تجعلها قادرة على ترك طابع مميز بالإضافة لما يتمتعوا به من نفوذ يتخطى الحدود القومية بما يولد طاقة أفضل تجاه تعزيز القيم التي يسعى المجلس إلى تدعيمها وكذلك يشترط أن يكون على دراية واسعة بما يسعى إليه المجلس من أهداف وما يقوم به من نشاطات ويستحسن أن تكون لديه موهبة عرض ما سبق بطريقة ميسرة وجذابة وألا يكون ذا دور في جهة أخرى تتعارض أهدافها وقضاياها مع القيم التي يحملها المجلس العالمى للسلام و يحرص المجلس على أن يكون سفراءالمجلس من الشخصيات العامه لأن المجلس يؤمن بأن الشخصيه العامه تمتلك نوعاً خاصاً من الإبداع والقدرة على العمل الجاد وهو مايتوافر في معالي الدكتور هيثم محمد القرعان
حيث تتطلب المهام شخص كفء دؤوب محب للخير وتمنى رئيس المجلس من الدكتور القرعان أن يساهم في تقديم الاستراتيجيات والمستجدات السياسة للمضي قدما في تحقيق الأهداف التي تدعم حقوق الانسان والسلام العالمى
